Delaware

With over 26,000 residents, The City of Delaware is the county seat for Delaware County and is located 25 miles due north of Columbus.   It is the home of Ohio Wesleyan University and has a great college town atmosphere.  It features tree-lined streets, turn of the century homes, and a downtown with historic buildings and booming businesses of all types.

Delaware is also know for the Little Brown Jug, one of the oldest and most prestigious harness racing events in the world.  More than 50,000 attend this event each year.

Residents enjoy a variety of housing options from historic homes to subdivision new-builds.  Delaware’s property taxes are low to average when compared to other cities in the region.
