Worthington

Heritage and a sense of community can be found in the beautifully landscaped streets, quiet neighborhoods, and vibrant central business district that make up the city of Worthington.

Founded in 1803, the city of Worthington was named in honor of Ohio’s sixth governor, and one of Ohio’s first senators – Thomas Worthington.  Many of the original buildings from the settlement have been preserves and can be enjoyed with a walk in the city’s downtown.  The city is seasoned with colonial, New England charm, and features a Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning from May to October.

Worthington is located just 9 miles due north of downtown Columbus.
